Come spend some time alongside the Rondout Creek while you learn to carve your own spoon from local hardwoods. This beginner level class will include the basics of woodworking and carving tools. Each student will leave with a spoon and memories to bring back to their own kitchen. All tools are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own carving tools if they have them.

Instructor: Michael Puryear is a furniture maker, studio designer, and teacher with 30 years of experience. He has taught college-level courses and has built a number of small wooden craft.
