Build Your Own Joiner's Mallet

One of the more useful tools in a woodworkers tool box is a mallet; a tool that is bound to save your chisels from that steel hammer! Starting with blocks of hard wood, we will cut, assemble, and finish pieces to fashion a traditional woodworker's mallet.

Instructor: Michael Puryear is a furniture maker, studio designer, and teacher with 30 years of experience. He has taught college-level courses and has built a number of small wooden craft.
