Basic Keelboat II - Skipper: June 9, 16, 23 Cancelled

This course reviews the material covered in in US Sailing Basic Keelboat, with a strong focus on practical, on-the-water skills and allows participants to accrue sea time. The focus is on skills needed to become a capable skipper.  The pre-requisitie is Basic Keelboat Certification or permission of the Instructor/Sailing School Director. This course is limited to 4 students, with a 4:1 student to instructor ratio. Three students are usually required to run the course. If the section has to be cancelled due to low registration, students will be notified as soon as possible before the start of the course, and they will have the option of signing up for another section or asking for a refund.

Early Registration (Before February 1, 2019): Non HRMM Member Tuition $475; Individual HRMM Member Tuition: $425; Household HRMM Member Tuition: $400

On-Time Registration: (Must register at least two weeks before start date.) Non HRMM Member Tuition: $500; Individual Member Tuition: $450; Household Member Tuition: $425.

Late Registration: (If space is available, seven to thirteen days before start date). Non HRMM Member Tuition $550;  Individual Member Tuition $495; Household member Tuition $467.50

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be offered for cancellations that occur 30 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program). Cancellations between 30 and 7 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class. Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 7 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.

Weather Cancellation: Generally, Riverport Sailing School does not cancel classes. We sail in light rain and a variety of wind and weather conditions. We stay ashore only if conditions are dangerous, i.e. squall or thunder and lightning. In the event we cannot sail, we will present relevant topics and activities on land until the weather conditions improve.
