Advanced Square Rule Timber Framing - canceled

Advanced Square Rule Timber Frame is a follow up course to Introduction to Square Rule Timber Frame. There will be a review of some of the topics covered in the introductory course, such as the square rule, and cutting of mortise and tenon joints. We will cover in more depth: ordering and storing timbers, basic timber frame engineering, basic timber frame layout, and the making of braces. This course is aimed at participants who have some timber frame and/or woodworking experience.

We are encouraging students who have participated in the first two classes to return and help 'raise' the structure they have worked on.
