Members of the Hudson River Maritime Museum exhibits team will talk about the 2020 Exhibit “Mary Powell: Queen of the Hudson”. From the Civil War to World War I, the steamboat Mary Powell plied the waters of the Hudson River. Overseeing a period of enormous social, political, and economic change, this famous steamboat came to represent the Hudson River at home and abroad and evoked fondness and nostalgia from Hudson Valley residents and tourists alike as they coped with the societal changes that marked her 60 year career.
