The course is a perfect opportunity to get out onto the Hudson River for a two-hour Introductory Sail aboard the historic Catboat Tidbit with a certified instructor. Participants do not need any sailing experience to sign up, but experienced sailors are also welcome to join us.
Three (3) participants minimum required (3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child). If only one or two are signed up, Sailing Program Staff will contact participants to reschedule as soon as possible to another date.
Maximum of 5 participants.

General Registration: $60 - Adults; $45 - Children (Under 18). Child must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
Individual Member Registration: $54 $45 - Children (Under 18)
Household Member & Above: $51- Adult; $38.25- Children (Under 18). Child must be accompanied by parent/guardian

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be offered for cancellations that occur 30 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program). Cancellations between 30 and 7 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class. Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 7 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first!) will not be refunded.
Weather Cancellation: Generally, Riverport Sailing School does not cancel classes. We sail in light rain and a variety of wind and weather conditions. We stay ashore only if conditions are dangerous, i.e. squall or thunder and lightning. In the event of dangerous weather conditions, we will cancel for the day and offer participants the opportunity to reschedule.
