Custom Adult Basic Centerboard Sailing Class, August 30, 2020, 10 am to 1 pm

This custom 3-hour introductory class for two adult sailors serves as the prerequisite course to Adult Centerboard Sailing Clinic classes. This custom version will introduce the basics of sailing and review the basics for the more experienced student. During class time, two students and one instructor will sail aboard a stable, 16.5 foot Catalina Capri centerboard sailboat. Students will participate in capsize practice, so participants should wear bathing suits or clothes that can get wet.

Covid-19 guidelines will be followed. Class will take place outside, all participants will be required to wear face coverings when not in the water, and equipment will be sanitized frequently. If the weather is threatening,the class will be postponed, usually to the following Sunday.
