Group/Family Build: Toy Boxes & Shapes

04/06/2024 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM ET

Description

Join veteran woodworker Bob Boisvert for this one-day group/family style building class where you will make wooden boxes and/or colorful shapes. Build unique, handcrafted toys for your family and friends as well as learn some basic woodworking skills along the way. You can decide to make an enclosed box or shapes you can hang on a wall or display on a shelf. Then choose from some existing templates for shapes like a lighthouse or tugboat, or bring or draw your own designs. You will create your box or shapes using a scroll saw, learning how to map out and cut the pieces, and then glue them together.

Some basic woodworking experience is helpful but not necessary. Beginners are welcome!

Note: When you purchase a ticket for your group or family, you can bring up to 3 guests. (Due to safety and space factors, each group is limited to 4 members total.)
